Chef Nicks Top Tips For a Succulent Steak.

For those cooking Steak this Valentines Day, here are some Top Tips from a man who’s cooked a steak or two, our very own Chef Nick:

  1. Take your steak out of the fridge about an hour before cooking so as to bring it to the right temperature ready for cooking
  2. Be sure your pan is smoking hot! 🔥
  3. Be generous with the seasoning (add more than you would usually as most of it will fall off when frying)
  4. Sear until your Steak forms a rich and deep crust
  5. Be sure to colour on all sides
  6. Rest for the same amount of time it took to cook
  7. Carve across the grain. Serve with our house-made Beef and Red Wine Sauce for utter perfection👌🏼
