We are so delighted to welcome Johan, our Wine Specialist, to our Found Hope family. We have had the pleasure of working with Johan for a few months now and have already learnt so much!
About Johan
Johan has worked in the wine industry for over 20 years. From managing wine focused restaurants, to a wine museum, to sitting on the judging panel at the International Wine Challenge, to the Senior Wine Buyer at the National Theatre, to hosting tastings for both trade and the public. And so I guess you could say he knows a thing or two about wine. To him, every single glass has a story, a history, and should be thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated by the lucky person/people drinking it. His knowledge is endless although Johan himself is continually searching to be further educated, hoping to learn more about the ever evolving world of wine.
We’re thrilled to have Johan in store for a few hours every weekend if you’d like some suggestions/advice then he’s your man! You will also find him cracking open a few bottles to taste as we continue to develop our delightful and selective wine range. Cheers to that! 🥂
