2017 Dagon Clan – Jar
Dealul Mare, Romania
Great blend of Feteasca Neagra and Pinot Noir. Light, very good balance with blueberries & black fruit, notes of plum, chocolate and oak. Medium plus aftertaste – 90 points in Decanter!
2015 Heumann – Kekfrankos Reserve
Villany, Hungary
Intense ruby red with purple reflections. A generous perfume, which recalls ripe black cherries, blackberry, prune and spice box. This wine has a velvety texture, smooth rounded tannins and perfect acids. A beautiful long fruity aftertaste.
2014 Vergelegen Estate – DNA
Stellenbosch, South Africa
DNA is a Cabernet Franc dominant blend from the Vergelegen estate. The grapes were selected from the estates Kopland and Rooiland vineyards. The Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon blend has berry fruit and chocolate notes and shows a serious tannin structure and intensity but has soft round features that linger on the palate.
